Film Studies A Level
Overview
A Level Film Studies offers you the opportunity to both study a wide range of films and create your own.
Throughout the course, you'll explore an exciting variety of films from around the world, including iconic works from America, Britain, and Europe, spanning both classic and contemporary cinema. You'll gain a deeper understanding of how the film form is constructed and made, as well as the meaning and impact on audiences both as audio-visual art form and as representation of their cultural contexts.
The practical coursework allows you to put your understanding into practice through your own creative production work. This is an opportunity to express your ideas, explore your interests, and gain insight into the process of film-making from a hands-on perspective.
