Patchwork with Appliqué
Overview
Patchwork is a creative craft where you combine various pieces of fabric to form beautiful patterns and unique projects.
This course is great for beginners looking to get started with patchwork. You’ll learn a variety of machine, hand cutting and assembly techniques. Over the course of the 10 weeks you will learn how to use templates to cut fabric, how to add seam allowance, how to design and construct patchwork panels.
The more experienced crafter will learn how to create a quilting sandwich, how to use a walking foot and a free motion foot to apply quilting lines to your patchwork design
You will have the opportunity to design and create your own patchwork design as part of this course.

Classes take place in our small, friendly sewing and design studio at the Llwyn y Bryn Campus, Uplands. With access to a range of sewing equipment, you’ll learn in a relaxed yet inspiring environment.
