Make a Quilted Jacket (Sewing Course)
Overview
This course will teach you how to plan and make a quilted jacket. You’ll learn various quilting techniques, using both a walking foot and a free-motion foot to achieve diverse textures and patterns.
Beyond stitching, you’ll also dive into design and customisation, learning how to plan a simple boarder pattern and incorporate it into your final jacket design. To truly make your project unique, you'll explore exciting embellishment techniques like appliqué and patchwork. By the end of this course, you'll have a beautifully crafted, custom-quilted jacket that reflects your individual style.
You can choose to use a commercial pattern, bring along your own pattern design or use a pre-made block as the basis for your design.
This course is ideal for learners who have some sewing and garment making experience but want to develop their skills and learn new techniques.
